Write in your words, meaning of following proverb?
1. It is better to have something than to have nothing; i.e., an idea, a love, etc.

2. When bad times/good times are about, it will take more than a fan to clear the air or the good or bad times out.

3. Some of the most heinous acts were committed by some of the stupidest people.

4. One person cannot whistle a symphony - it takes a whole orchestra.
Reply:Briefly 1-4 means

Be satisfied that hot air cannot answer something you know little about all by your lonesome.
Reply:It means, a little of anything would not make an impact. For something to be succeed, it needs the concerted efforts of everyone concerned.
Reply:(1) if we do some thing in our life like we do some sport then it will be always better than doing nothing.

(2) we dont have to jump to other work if some danger or some obsticles comes.

(3) if we keep just 1 or 2 percent of knowledge then it will be dangerous as it will cause confusion in our mind.

(4) we need to have team work in each and every work.
Reply:Nothing is bad relative to something, confusion is best dealt with calmly, the state of everyone's knowledge is really on a similar level, don't count your chickens.
Reply:do you work for dell because I had a guy help me with my computer the other day with the same sn....

Also to answer your question:

Something is better than nothing: I look at it this way- if I have one dollar, it's better than having none, right? Because with that dollar, I can invest it to make more money or buy something with the dollar. With no money, I cannot invest nor spend.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing- this can be looked at 2 different ways (kind of like glass half-empty/ half full) If you only have a little knowledge as opposed to a lot of knowledge, it may lead you to do stupid things because of the lack of knowledge or thought prossess used to decide what to do and why... or it could mean that just a little knowledge is enough to do many things. If you have just a little bit of knowledge, most of the time you can expand on it.

And lastly, One flower makes no garland- Only one of something can't really make much. You can't make a necklace out of 1 bead and you can't make a shirt with one piece of thread; you need many things (different or the same) to make something even more beautiful than the starting product.
Reply:[1].....it is just tht something is better than god [Nothing is better than god.....smething is better than nothing !
Reply:(4) selfishness produces nothing.
Reply:a lillte knowledge ; like a person knows something about herbs and takes them with a presciption drug and causes a problem
Reply:any one who has a good knowledge cannot establish a name in the stage because team work is necessary

this is proved by One flower makes no garland.
