A little too overboard?!!!?

my daughter is turning 7 this coming thursday so i'm throwing her a fairy princess b-day party this coming saturday. my bf is also turning the big 30 that same day so we are having a little party for him too at the same time (in another part of the house).

there are about 30 people coming total (11 people are family). 8 little girls are coming for my daughter.

we are serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and mac n' cheese for all the guests (i encouraged everyone to bring along a dish as well).

for my daughter:

-decorations are: cake table w/pink tablecloth, glitter, and butterfly sequins. serving table w/purple tablecloth, glitter, sequins, and a vase w/fake pink roses and butterfly balloons. there will be a flower garland around the front door and glitter along the walkway (we have a gravel front yard so no mess to worry about)

A little too overboard?!!!?
I think it's sweet that you want to do so much for your daughter. It's only overboard if you push too hard to make sure all your plans come to fruition; let your daughter and her friends enjoy the experience at their own pace, and if they happen not to get to an activity or two, that's okay; you can save them for her 8th birthday. And have fun, yourself!
Reply:You are the best parent ever. Seriously. Glitter with butterfly sequins... She is never going to forget this party. And as long as you didn't pay over 1000 dollars i'd say you didn't go overboard.
