Did I go too overboard?!!?

my daughter is turning 7 this coming thursday so i'm throwing her a fairy princess b-day party this coming saturday. my bf is also turning the big 30 that same day so we are having a little party for him too at the same time (in another part of the house).

there are about 30 people coming total (11 people are family). 8 little girls are coming for my daughter.

we are serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and mac n' cheese for all the guests (i encouraged everyone to bring along a dish as well).

for my daughter:

-decorations are: cake table w/pink tablecloth, glitter, and butterfly sequins. serving table w/purple tablecloth, glitter, sequins, and a vase w/fake pink roses and butterfly balloons. there will be a flower garland around the front door and glitter along the walkway (we have a gravel front yard so no mess to worry about)

Seems like it's going to be lovely fun! Enjoy the party!
Reply:I don't think so. Remember, you are having 9 hyperactive little girls, so you'll want something to tire them at, while at the same time letting them enjoy it.

There parents would probably kill you if you gave them all back hyperactive little girls ; )

Maybe you went a bit overboard with the glitter though. . .
Reply:Your plans sound fun for a 7 yr. old. I just wanted to add to take lots of pictures! Make a scrapbook with your daughter so she will remember the big day. If you decide after it's all over that it was a bit much, tell her she can have a big party every other year. www.creativedesignunlimited.com
Reply:I would not do 2 parties in different parts of the house. All the activities at your childs party need to be supervised at all times. Who is going to do that while there is an adult party elsewhere?
Reply:Be sure to give them the gift bags on their way out. I think you're just making up for last year's lack of party and haven't gone overboard. Good luck!
Reply:ur daughter must b proud of u !! u didn't did too much but will u b able 2 handle it?? ur arrangements r gr8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wanna b ur daughter
Reply:No shes gonna love it A mom that does too much is a mom that cares she'll love u for it
Reply:how many times are you going to post this question?!
