I am a Girl Scout leader who is having a party for 17 Brownie Girl Scouts. The theme is Enchanted Garden Fairy Party.
Eah girl will be getting wings, making wands, large tissue paper flowers, fairy pictures. I will be hiding tiny pictures of fairlies all over the room for them to find, we will play pin the horn on the unicorn, fairy musical chairs, minature I Spy, eating flower covered cupcakes and "dirt cake" (chocolate pudding, crushed Oreo cookies, gummy worms and a silk flower stuck into a small flower pot). I am making "Sparkle punch" (Hawaiian punch, 7-Up, orange soda %26amp; sherbet).
So far I have decided to hang long garlands of silk flowers (from the dollar store) from the ceiling and have all the tables covered in spring green colored table cloths.
What else can I do to make this party lovely %26amp; enchanted?
All ideas are welcome!
Creative? Ideas on how to decorate a room for a child's Fairy Garden party?
Wow....sounds like you have it all covered.
That party sounds wonderful, nice work!!
How about giving them a fairy name and either glittering it on a party hat or name tag?

Reply:Tutu's. Fairies usually wear flower petal dresses/skirts. You can acheive this effect with cheap tulle from walmart. Make it like a ballerina tutu. Cut a 1" wide piece of ribbon and tie, sew, or hot glue strips of tulle to the ribbon. The girls can tie them around their waist like an apron... You could embellish, if you wish, with spray glitter and flower petals.
Reply:I did a yahoo search for 'fairy party ideas' and came up with 10 sites to check out. Some of the sites had some different ideas, that were quite clever. The EBay site had some cute ideas for food.
